S.F. WonderCon

March 31, 2010

The San Francisco (One of the most beautiful cities in the world) WonderCon is fast approaching . This year it is being held at the Moscone Center South on Friday 2nd through Sunday 4th. It promises to be bigger and better than last year. I’ll be with my good friend John Fleskes in booth #1019. Stop by to say hello and maybe pick up my latest project, a beautiful limited number portfolio on Frank Brangwyn’s interpretation of “The Way of the Cross” and save yourself the $10. for S&H.

John Fleskes carries the best books on art and illustration bar none. You’ll want to see his latest and hear about the exciting new projects he’s worrking on plus you’ll get to meet Mark Schultz. Try to get there early as John Fleske’s booth #1019 is always crowded.

Speaking of illustration; the latest issue of Illustration magazine #29 is now available on bookstores or you can order it directly from the publisher The entire issue is devoted to the famous Pulp magazine illustrator H.J. Ward. If you’re a fan on pulp art, this is a ‘must buy’ issue. If you’re not a subscriber to this magazine then I would strongly suggest that you do because this has got to be one of the best if not the best ever magazine devoted to those years long forgotten known as the Golden Age of Illustration.
