Most comic books were published fortnightly. Each comic book would consist of several artists. Each one would do six pages per issue (12 pages in a month. Most artists were assigned to draw a novel which in most cases lasted for several months, long before the term ‘Graphic Novel’ was introduced to our lexicon. Each artist penciled, inked and designed the title of the novel.
